EPT Copenhagen Day 3: Per Linde chip leader
Sixty-three players were still competing Thursday, February 24 at the start of Day 3 of the EPT Copenhagen. Five levels later, they are more than 24 spread across three tables of eight players. Per Linde topped with a carpet of 1,622,000 after struggling all day with another Swedish Joel Nordqvist. After his “deep runs” to the EPT Barcelona (44th) and San Remo (13th) in 2010 and his third place at the WPT Grand Prix de Paris, Per Linde proves once again that he is now one of the best European players.

Linde and Nordqvist exceeded their compatriot Michael Tureniec earlier in the day, winning crucial pots at the right time. Linde has amassed such a pot of 800,000 against Team PokerStars Pro JP Kelly with kings cons . This coup allowed him to surpass the one million chip and eliminate a formidable opponent. Linde then consolidated his stack releasing several short stacks (small carpets) while Nordqvist lost some ground late in the day to finish third with 1,236,000 in chips and carpets.
Florian Langmann stops Swedish rule?
After three days of competition, no one has yet succeeded in putting an end to the Swedish rule in the EPT. Florian Langmann, Team PokerStars Pro, may be the spoilsport. The German has indeed ended Day 3 as the bomb after winning 800,000 chips on confrontation vs. . With a carpet of 1,304,000, Langmann occupies the second place.
